Inspired by their family vacation lodgings in the mountainous West, these Chicago-area parents of two commissioned us to reimagine that look and lifestyle for Midwest living. Our aim was to meld the dramatic interior stone accents and hand-hewn woods with soft and comfortable furnishings to honor the kick-your-shoes-off” theme.
